Damien Hull

Damien has over 10 years of IT experience. I have done network engineering, system administration of Linux and Windows servers, desktop support and security.

I spend most of my free time as cohost of the Section 9 podcast. We cover IT and cyber security. Current topics include Windows logging with Sysmon, SIEM solutions like ELK and Security Onion, and EDR solutions like Wazuh..

Dorothy Louderback

Section 9 podcast cohost and tech. In charge of patch management for Windows 10. Currently focused on her Windows 10 certification.

Main Focus

Our main focus is simplifying IT and information security. What are easy quick wins we can do in security? How can we manage Windows 10 with Intune?

Current Projects

VMware 6-25-21

Managed to get our VMware server hardware upgraded. Currently running ESXi 7.0.2 and VCSA 7.0.2. Monitoring performance with Grafana, Influxdb and Telegraf. We use this for our lab environment.

Security lab 7-12-21

Working on a lab that will include the ELK stack, Windows Server 2019, Windows 10, DeepBlueCLI and SIGMA rules.
